Our Story
We are a studio, a school, and a community — united by the belief that making something with your hands changes you.
Founded in 2018
Aurum Studio began in a small workshop in the city's arts district, with a single jeweler's bench, a second-hand torch, and an enormous belief that everyone has an inner maker waiting to be unlocked.
Our founder, Elena Vasari, trained for twelve years under master goldsmiths in Florence and Barcelona before returning home with one ambition: to share everything she had learned, not just with aspiring professionals, but with anyone who wanted to make something beautiful.
Today, Aurum Studio is home to six instructors, a fully-equipped metalsmithing lab, a curated shop of professional supplies, and a community of over 1,200 students who have passed through our doors.
What We Believe
We believe in slowing down, paying attention, and doing things properly. There are no shortcuts to beautiful handmade jewelry — and we wouldn't want there to be.
Fine jewelry techniques shouldn't belong only to professionals. We've made it our mission to teach real skills to anyone who wants to learn them, regardless of background.
We source recycled metals and ethically mined stones wherever possible, and we'll always be honest about our supply chain. Responsible making matters to us.
Every student who walks through our door becomes part of the Aurum community. We celebrate every piece made here, and we grow together as makers.
